Mike and Nicky opened the salon in 1987, building a trusted name within the local community. Originally known as M Riccio, the salon moved to its current home in 2010 before rebranding as Casa Luxe in 2022, reflecting an exciting new chapter while staying true to the values it was built on.

In April 2026, Gabs and Ellie became Directors of Casa Luxe, working alongside Mike and Nicky to continue the salon's future while carrying forward the knowledge, experience and passion gained over nearly 40 years.

Our team is a blend of experienced stylists and talented younger professionals who bring creativity, current trends and fresh ideas. Collectively, we've worked internationally, on television, behind the scenes at photo shoots and in competitions.

We all regularly attend training and education to ensure we're continually developing our skills and staying inspired.

Supporting the next generation of hairdressers has always been important to us. We have a proud history of training apprentices and currently have Charlotte and Maddy developing their skills within the salon under the guidance of our experienced team.
